Sandra M. (Swoboda) Scott

On June 17, 2018 Sandie peacefully passed away with her loving family at her side. She was born on August 18, 1944 to the late Charles and Edna (Tlachac) Swoboda. Sandie graduated from Algoma High School in 1962 and in 1997 with a BA in Liberal Arts from the UWGB Extended Degree Program where she served on their Alumni Board for several years. She also served as the Past President and was a board member of the Wisconsin Life and Health Underwriters Association while working for several health insurance companies. Later she enjoyed the Customer Service Representative role for several companies including recently with MultiPlan in De Pere. She enjoyed a good novel, finding treasures at rummage and thrift sales, baking and cooking for family and friends, singing in the church choir and mostly spending time with her daughter and granddaughters, especially their road trips to Door County.

She is survived by her beloved daughter Sabrina Scott, two beautiful granddaughters, Alexxis (special friend Matt Smet) and Adhara; siblings, Darrell (Barbara) Swoboda, Wayne (Lois) Swoboda, Karen (James) Wochos, nieces, nephews, extended family and relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents, infant sister Janice, infant grandniece Logan, and family relatives.

Visitation with the family will be held at St. Francis Xavier Parish, 220 S. Michigan St., De Pere, WI 54115 on Thursday, June 28, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. Binu Varghese officiating.  Interment will follow in the Holy Name of Mary Church Cemetery in Maplewood, WI. Online condolence messages may be shared on the tribute wall.

Sandie wished to give special thanks to family, friends, Prevea Clinic and St. Vincent Heart and Oncology staffs for their prayers, care, and compassion during her illnesses. Rest in peace, Mom and Grandma!
