Verna H. Clark

Verna H. Clark, 92, of Algoma, passed away at home surrounded by family and friends. Verna was born on June 19, 1931, to John and Matilda (Ciha) Paape.

On June 23, 1951, Verna married the love of her life, Ronald H. Clark and raised 8 children. Verna worked at the Algoma Hardwoods for 33 years.

Verna is survived by her children, Ron (Ginger) Clark, Keith Clark, Randy (Debbie) Clark, Diane Clark, Terry (Patti Mulcahy) Clark, Lynn (Julie) Clark, Kevin (Cheryl) Clark; 18 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great-grandchildren; as well as by nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Clark; daughter, Debra Clark; grandson, Jon Clark; parents, John and Matilda Paape; father- and mother-in-law, John and Theresa Clark; brothers and sisters; and brothers- and sisters-in-law.

Visitation will take place at Kinnard Funeral & Cremation Services - Algoma from 3:00-7:00 pm on Tuesday, April, 2, 2024, with a prayer service at 7:00 pm. Visitation will continue on Wednesday morning from 9:00-11:00 am at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 am with Fr. Andrew Kurz officiating.
