Viola M. Seidl

Viola M. Seidl, age 96, of Kewaunee, passed away on Monday, May 26, 2025. Vi was born on December 10, 1928, a daughter of the late Jerry and Etta (Baumgartner) Paplham. She married Sylvester Seidl on July 8, 1950.

Upon graduation from Kewaunee High School, she was employed by the State Bank of Kewaunee. She was also employed as an AT&T telephone switchboard operator until the Kewaunee office closed, going to dial services. She was then employed as an outreach NWTC coordinator for the Kewaunee area. Vi belonged to the Rosary Society, a lifetime member of the VFW auxiliary and various card groups.

Survivors include her three children, Roy (Anne) Seidl of St. Germain, WI; Mary (Joseph) Giacalone, of Fond du Lac; Brian (special friend Mary Cain) Seidl of Kewaunee. Grandchildren, Benjamin, Jared, and Matthew Seidl. Great-grandchildren, Kolby, Katelyn, Conor, and Amelia.

Viola was preceded in death by her husband, Sylvester, daughter-in-law, Kim; great-grandson, Bodey; parents-in-law, Joseph and Barbara Seidl; sister, Sylvia (Art) Randall; brother, Jerry Jr (June) Paplham; brother Harvey (Evelyn) Paplham; in-laws Alois (Betty) Seidl, Norbert (Judy) Seidl, and Charles (Mable) Seidl.

Visitation will take place at Kinnard Funeral & Cremation Services - Kewaunee on Monday, June 2, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am with service taking place at 11:00 am with Christal Wavrunek officiating.
