Dennis R. Malcore

Dennis R. Malcore, 65, Casco, passed away on Thursday, April 13, 2023, after a long battle with cancer. He was born on May 8, 1957, to the late Louis “Bob” and Lorraine (Ferrier) Malcore. On October 23, 1993, Dennis married Gloria Vandertie at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Lincoln. Dennis enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and being a bad influence on people to buy John Deere tractors. He also enjoyed motorcycle riding and driving tractors in parades.

Dennis is survived by his wife Gloria; children, Sandy (Brian) Monfils, Allen (Krystal) Vandertie, Kevin (Jean) Vandertie, Brian (special friend Andrea Innes) Wautlet; grandchildren, Josh Tobison, Cassidy Vandertie, Austin Vandertie, Brooklyn Monfils, Alexandria Vandertie, Akamai Wautlet; great-grandchild, McKinley Dax; siblings, Sue (Alan) Thiry, Shirley (John) Frea, Debbie Strnad, Barb (Brian) Rass; brothers-in-law, Gene (Jeannine) Jadin, and Gary Jadin; as well as by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bob and Loraine Malcore; in-laws, Lawrence and Verna Jadin; brother, Robert Malcore; nephew, Shawn Frea; and great-niece Ariana Gruetzmacher.

Visitation will be held at St. Peter’s Catholic Church – Lincoln, from 2:00 – 6:00 pm Tuesday, April 18, 2023. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 6:00 pm with Fr. Edward Looney officiating.
