John S. Eberle

John S. Eberle, 60, Algoma, passed away March 24, 2022, at home after living for 2 years with cancer. He was born on December 5, 1961, to the late Stephen & Loretta (Young) Eberle in Trenton, MI. After graduating high school, he served in the U.S. Navy.  On December 23, 1983, he married Cheryl Rosendaul at St. Joseph’s in Montpelier, OH. John worked for the Wisconsin Public Service as an engineer until his retirement and then enjoyed life as a farmer. John enjoyed muscle cars, raising cattle, and he loved to cook.

John is survived by his wife, Cheryl Eberle; daughter, Gwen (Anthony) Eberle-Herzog of Belgium, WI; sisters, Karen Szumny, of Allen Park, MI, and Geraldine Wojcynski, of Allen Park, MI. He was preceded in death by his parents, Stephen and Loretta Eberle; and brother Mike Ostrander.
