Laura J. Perry-Heidmann, 62, Algoma, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 27, 2022. She was born on September 5, 1959, to the late Ralph and Virginia (MacFarlane) Perry. She married her husband Bruce Heidmann on July 9, 1983, and together they ran the Algoma Printing Inc.
Sissy enjoyed life, playing golf, cooking, working with the East Shore Industries fundraisers, working with the clients of East Shore Industries, traveling, and just going out. She was a past president of the Algoma Chamber of Commerce and a member of the Algoma & Kewaunee Ladies League.
She is survived by her husband, Bruce; son, Christopher (Michelle) Heidmann; grandchildren, Joseph Haegle, Natalie Heidmann, Carter Heidmann; brother, Ralph (Mary Kay) Perry, Green Bay; her special dog, Amos; as well as by nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph Perry and Virginia (MacFarlane) Perry-Miller; father- and mother-in-law, Harold and Marie Heidmann; sisters, Margaret Perry and Gina Carron; stepfather, George Miller; step-mother-in-law, Dorothy Holub (Heidmann).
A Private family service is being held for Sissy at Kinnard Funeral & Cremation Services – Algoma. Burial will then take place in the Evergreen Cemetery. Online condolence message may be shared at KinnardFCS.com.
