Lillian A. (Messmann) Siebold

Lillian A. Siebold, 104, Kewaunee, passed away on January 29, 2023. Lillian was born on July 15, 1918, in Two Creeks to the late Charles and Catherine (Miller) Messmann. On June 26, 1940, she married James Siebold at St. Mary’s Church in Tisch Mills. He preceded her in death on October 24, 2005.

Throughout her life she enjoyed gardening, tending to her flowers and vegetables. She played the organ and sang at church, she wrote daily diaries, crafted, making quilts and rugs, and chestnut rosaries. She enjoyed baking, playing cards, word finds, riding on a sleigh in her younger years, and traveling.

Survivors include seven children, Ronald (Betty) Siebold, Mishicot; James (Betty) Siebold, Denmark; Sharon Siebold, Manitowoc; Charles Siebold, Denmark; Glenn (Becky) Siebold, Algoma; Julie (Ron) Bruechert, Kewaunee and Rick (Lorri) Siebold, Kewaunee; twenty-three grandchildren; thirty-one great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren; also survived by nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, James; brother, Louis (Loretta) Messmann; sister, Lucille (Walter) Entringer; daughter-in-law, Ellen Siebold; and grandson, Ryan Bruechert.

Visitation will take place at Kinnard Funeral & Cremation Services – Kewaunee from 4:00-7:00 pm on Friday February 3, 2023. A prayer service will take place at 7:00 pm with Christal Wavrunek. Visitation will continue on Saturday February 4, 2023, at St. Therese Parish/St. Lawrence site at Stangelville, from 10:00-11:00 am. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 am with Fr.
